I was looking for a good pair of eyeglasses and had the opportunity to visit Oscar Wylee Optical at ...Richmond Center , with my daughter yesterday evening. From the moment we entered the store, we were warmly welcomed by a young lady named Ms. Ria Sharma, whose name I learned later after receiving her excellent assistance. I had several questions about their eyeglasses, especially the transition lenses, and she patiently answered every one of them. She helped my daughter and me choose the right frame and color that suited me best. She then guided us through the entire process of selecting the lenses and additional options, including the transition lenses with sun protection. Despite the store being close to closing time, Ms. Sharma remained friendly, helpful, and patient throughout our visit. She was very knowledgeable and honest in giving her professional opinion on which frames would best complement the shape of my face. I am extremely happy and satisfied with the service I received. Thank you very much, Ms. Ria Sharma, for the exceptional service you provided to my daughter and me. This is my first time visiting Oscar Wylee. From the moment I walked till the day I received my gla...sses their service is outstanding. I truly felt "the best possible experience," as stated on their website. My first set of progressive lens didn't line up correctly with my sightlines and the store manager quickly diagnosed the issue and to my surprise order two new set of lens to correct the sightline issue. Less than a week two new set of lens arrived and this time the lens works perfectly with my sightlines. I am blown away with quickly and willingly their resolved the issue. Moving forward I will only get my glasses from Oscar Wylee because they are not kidding about "the best possible experience." See more

First time getting progressive glasses. Decided to use this store, after speaking with John and goin...g through my options I ordered a pair of glasses. After a few weeks I was having difficulties adjusting to the new glasses. I raised my concerns with John and he suggested different frames. This made a big difference. I just had to make an effort to write a review about this store because of how outstanding their sta...ff and service is. If you are wanting to get new glasses or sunglasses and not sure where to go, look no further and head to this store! I was running late for my appointment by 10 minutes due to heavy traffic and I called their store ahead to let them know. I fully expected to have to reschedule but John, Bronwyn and Dr. Orendain graciously waited for me. They didn't have to do that but the fact that they went the extra mile to wait so I can have my appointment that day just proves the care they have for their customers. Dr. Orendain went through my eye test smoothly. It was quick and efficient but very thorough. John helped me choose two pairs of glasses and walked me through the store, showing me the different style of glasses the store carried. Bronwyn carefully explained the different kinds of lenses and how each one functioned for everyday wear, so I was able to decide which one suited my needs. They were also able to bill my insurance easily! I felt very taken care of in this store and can tell that they genuinely care about their customers. I highly recommend them! See more

This is my first time visiting Oscar Wylee. At first all I want is to get an eye check up because I ...needed it. The day of an appointment, I didn’t expect any yet they are very accommodating from the front to their eye doctor who is Dr Ordaine, he is very straightforward, he know what he is doing. Easy to understand and I felt comfortable. To Ms. Brownie and John. They were very helpful at the same time friendly. They let people feel at home. They are professional in their job at the same time they are fun to talk to.. Their glasses is very cool and many to choose from.. please try their selection as well as their eye check up. They also have direct billing if you were insured by your company or separate. You check and clarify what insurance they have that you have… (Please ask) they have sun life etc.. Amazing service from the beginning to end! The manager John and another staff (unfortunately did not... get her name) were super helpful and knowledgeable about what glasses suit me best. The in-house optometrist was also very friendly and efficient. Not to mention the price is affordable with direct billing to my insurance provider. I bought a new pair of glasses about three weeks ago, though I was out of town at the time and had a...rranged for my girlfriend to pick them up on my behalf. I had informed the manager in advance and made sure her name was on the record. However, she told me the person who handed her the glasses seemed surprised that someone else was picking them up, and the interaction felt uncomfortable. She was also told the glasses could not be adjusted for fit as I was not there to pick it up. When I returned and tried the glasses myself, I found they were not fitting comfortably and clearly needed adjustment. I went in to have them aligned, but the manager, John, dismissed my concerns, saying the fit was already "perfect." I felt I had to push quite a bit just to be heard, even taking photos to demonstrate the poor fit. John repeatedly brought up my facial asymmetry, which I didn’t find relevant to my request and felt was inappropriate to emphasize in that context. While both mine and my girlfriend's past experiences here have been mixed, this most recent visit has pushed me to write this review so others can know about the potential experiences with the service at this store. Update: I went back again as the glasses were still not fitting right. The person that helped me this time, Bronwyn, was a professional and had great technique in aligning the glasses to my head. They fit comfortably now, thank you so much! See more

John was an amazing manager who helped me after I had broken my glasses and needed a pair for an upc...oming work term. He take my old lenses and found a new pair of frames, saving me on the entire lens cost, and I had a new pair of glasses to go for the following day. No other store even suggested this idea and he gave me an extra set of frames in case a similar case occurred. Definitely a 5 star rating from the customer service alone and respect for the Oscar Wylee brand! See more

Exceptional After-Sales Service! I stopped by the store today to get my glasses fixed, as the paint ...was starting to chip away. I was told it would take about a week to get them back—but to my surprise, 20 min later just as I was finishing a poutine I received a call that they were already ready!
