The frames in our Lightweight range are made from materials including ultem and titanium. Both materials are high quality and designed to be as strong and lightweight as possible.

Ultem is a high performing thermoplastic, perfect for glasses frames as it is tough and flexible, with the ability to bend and return to its original shape. Ultem has a high strength-to-weight ratio, meaning that whilst it is a highly strong and durable material, it is also light in weight. Ultem based frames are more comfortable to wear than traditional acetate frames and are less prone to breakage.

Titanium is a type of transition metal, strong, yet low in density. Frames with titanium parts have the strength to withstand everyday wear and tear while remaining light on the face. The strength of titanium makes for a durable glasses frame, less prone to breakage and requiring fewer adjustments.
